I AM JUST PASSING THROUGH

As calm as the seas of tender emotion

Or the raging tides of a turbulent ocean

Or the howling winds stirring a frenzied rain

Or the soft touch of mist on a window pane

Perhaps a light summer breeze that rustles the trees

Or the eye of a hurricane, in time all of these

And many more things not always revealing

Things of the heart, deep human feeling

No different am I than the sbstance of you

We are the breaths of this earth just passing through!
